in a remote area on Mindanao
It ´s been a while where by faith our heavenly father put in my heart to reach out one day to a remote swamp area in Mindanao.

I saw pictures of this place and in my heart i prayed for an opportunity some day to be allowed to go there and reach out with the Gospel to bring physical and spiritual healing to this place which is far away ,even the children have to use a floating school since this area is covered by water.

Especially when I read that a little Girl in this swamp one day was on her way to her school which is a floating libary in the swamp, suddently got attacked a big crocodile and bit off her head.

It was all over the news,and the villagers had to be evacuated in order to catch this croc
This was 2 years ago

I also read that some of the people in the swamp believed that some kind of swamp god or the bad spirit of the swamp got the girl.
I had pain in my heart that the people there don´t know yet the Living GOD their Father in Heaven who loves them and likes to comfort them and deliver them and likes to save themMy heart ´s desire was really to bring comfort,Love and the truth of the Gospel as well as bibles and medicine into this place ,God the father willing and start a new ministry link with our Mission HFPC International.
So last year when I was in the ministry in our projects in some other remote areas on Mindanao,I was praying togehter with the pastor there if we should go to the swamp,but because of the All saints Day in the Philippines it was to hard to get around so we believed for another time to reach out to the people in the swamp.

Now this year almost one year later ,I asked our local Missionpartner and pastor if he could pray about going to the swamp and he told me that he believes by faith GOD our father would allow him to go .

So this July Pastor Guardy our local ministry partner and another pastor went to the swamp to open new doors for our ministry .

and hospital is far away,so the people
of the swamp were happy to receive
some physical help and of course spiritual help

Since this is a dangerous area with big saltwater crocodiles in these swamps we prayed of course for a safe trip deep into the swamp land and that our heavenly father would go before them and open doors for them to minister and bring LOve and salvation to the people of the swamp.

These are the words Pastor Guardy sent me quote:´´this pictures are from san marcos village and lake mihaba.....
The place is very dangerous the 30 feet long croc is not yet captured and i really been their were rowena romano the 12 yrs old girl was bitten and also the vice president of mihaba crocodile sanctuary. there are only 9 houses inside mihaba lake and one office for the croc sanctuary, I also meet the president of Croc sanctuary his name is Rey Calderon and tthe name of there group inside mihaba is LAMIFA organization. his mother is in san marcos a former assembly of God believer but now they are involve in southern baptist church and they are gathering in thier house in san marcos...
The 30 feet croc is planned by the organization and the government of the philippines to be captured this month...
That's why I'm really a little bet scared for it might happened to us anytime the giant croc will attacked us... but thank from our heavenly father for His protection and I always believe that if it is His will it is always be done in a safe way... i spend four days on trip and go back home safely...

Anyway the mother or the family of Rowena Romano has already move in the other place of Agusan del sur...
The people are very thankful for the bibles and with the medicine, toothbrush and vitamins... they are also looking forward that you can visit them by the will of our Heavenly Father... those canoe pictures that was destroy was bitten by the giant crocs and that was the girl canoe were she ride.
let us wait for the news this month for the capture of the giant crocs... ´´

Few weeks later after Pastor Guardy wrote this note, they captured a 21 foot Crocodile from that region .We are very thankful to our heavenly father for protecting our local Ministry partner Pastor Guardy and bringing him back save from this ministry to the people of the swamp,Hallelujah.

The people in the swamp are still not sure if this is the crocodile which killed the girl 2 years ago.

Community development in the Garbage Dump

The HFPC International Mission also helps with community development whenever the heavenly father opens a door for that,we are trying to improve the lives in the community´s ,using the resources our father in heaven provides for us by his grace and love for us his children.

Free use of rain water,Solar energy,herbal plants,all are natural resources we are blessed with.A watertank in the community collects the rain water which can be used for washing the cloths,boiling and used for drinking,even for taking a shower

This time the old watertanks in the garbage Dump were useless,have done their work,so the father in heaven put in my heart to get an new one ,a bigger one with 3000 Liter capacity,the old ones ill be taken apart and put togehter to one ,the parts which are useless will be used as scrap.

The Local people are helping to install and place the watertank in the right positionto level it.In the Philippines we don´t a lifter or crane,poeple are doing work instead of using a maschine

Mindanao Mission Philippines October/November 2010 Open air Evangelism on the Dumpsite of our ministry area the Garbage Dump also called Landfill.
We have our local Partnership and Children`s ministry here since Dec 2005,bringing the LOVE of Christ ,physical and spiritualHealing to the people and Children on the Dumpsite.

We organize Birthcertificates,Idendification papers for the children,
feed them with our weekly feeding program,do healthcare,
handing out Vitamins,Bibles.

This Time we had an openair Evangelim Crusade.

This little boy just came from collecting scrap from the Garbage Area,he stopped and listened to our program.

Many children in this area are not
going to school ,they are sent into the garbage Area to collect the garbage and scrap to a junk shop which sells it ,they are ´´slaves´´ child labours´´.It is always our main focus through Christ to get those kids out of poverty and give them a future ,get their papers,register them and put them in a school.

we hand out vitamins to the mothers

















In our ministry we also try to educate and exsplain to the people how
to use the vitamins,we do dehydration awareness,we teach about hygene give some advices about daily issues
















This is Inday a girl from our feeding program


Her mom passed away 2 years ago due to TB Tubercolosis.My belated friend and Pastor Wilbert and I were able to lead her to the LORD GOD as her Saviour,before she passed away.

She left Inday and 7 more children and her Husband.
Please pray for this Family especially the kids but also the Husband never got over the death
of his wife,he has an alcohol problem,we trust Christ for his deliverance.

Evangelism and Mercy Ministry to some remote Places on Dinagat Island and Caraga

On this Trip a quite adventures one, we trusted Christ for every step ,we did´t know anyone,we haven´t been there before,i just knew that is the place God our FATHER IN HEAVEN wants us to bring his Love and compassion to the people and children
After an 8 hour busride through Mindanao we had to take a ferry for another hour .

Our bags are full with medicine ,Bibles and our belongings and a Guitar

Our first Stop San Jose Town on Dinagat .
SAN JOSE

A cute place,beautiful scenery,nice beaches.

What we did´t know when we arrived,some local People told us,true or not, that they estimate that about 60 %of the population of this Island has high power firearms ,since two different clans are fighting each other and a civil war could break out.
Also they told us that voodoo is constantly praticed on the Island,prostitution,the spirit of Lust we sensed it immitiatly when we arrived,we sensed a spirit of fear as well ,spiritually spoken we arrived in a dark place.

Not enough the danger in the place where we stayed closed to teh sea somebody told us that they had a seasnake problem( the world`S most venomous deadly Snakes) as well ,as they would come out of the water by night in one place,`their dog who tried to attack the snakes died in one minute after he got bitten.

But like always when Missionary`S go out like us we trust Christ,the Mighty Angels of the Almigthy God to protect us.

Our first ministry was in this house in San Jose the small capital Town on dinagat Island,

We ministered to this family ,there grandfather was sick and they all needed prayers and encouragement,we share the Love of Christ with them and prayed for healing of man

We prayed for this man who was weak the time we were there,we prayed and left the Holy scriptures with them to draw strength through Christ in his word

After that ministry we walk around the city with our guitar , bibles and medicine as we followed the Man who has told to come to his house

When we arrived in the house we found out that just a few hours earlier this baby was born ,so i measured the temperature and check the health and prayed for the baby ,her mother and father and the rest of the family ,we gave them a Bible ,too.

But as we found out this was not the reason for the man calling us to follow him he needs help

This baby was born in that house hours before we arrived

In the same room just agross from this newborn baby we found the grandmother lying in bed with both feet terrible infected and smelly,she could not walk for 2 days already ,so I began cleaning and treating the wounds

After I treated her wounds I trained the family members how to continue to clean the wounds ,I left medicine there for the treatment, after that we prayed for her healing and that she can walk again

Not far in this place a Basketball court in San Jose the capital town of Dinagat I shared a Biblestory with the kids,and one boy commited his life to Christ,he stepped forward and prayed with us the sinners prayer ,hallelujah

The children had an open ear to our Biblestory ,one boy got saved

Aside from medicine we brought a lot of Bibles, the Living word of God Almigthy,to being destributed on this remote island

Pastor Guardy is preparing the bibles for our next Ministry ,about 2 hours bumpy ride ,3 of us on a Motorcycle, Habal Habal ,

This was our transportation on the Island ,called Habal Habal ,three of us spent 4 hours on a dirty bumpy road on this Motorcycle the driver,the pastor sitting in the back and me in the middle ,the bags with the medicine were placed in front of the driver and pastor Guardy held the Guitar

Since I was the biggest Guy in the middle we had no space for the medicine bag that´s why we place it in front of the driver

This is our Transportation ,we were three Guys and the Bibles,Medicine,Guitar

The Habal Habal as the motorcyle is called is the main transportation on this Island

After 2 hours one way and a soar bud we arrived in a small coastal village

We started our ministry with worship and sharing the good news of Salvation and healing.Pastor Guardy my Ministry Partner is on the Guitar




Many of the women and children needed physical help as well as spirtual help ,we passed on the Love Christ our Lord has for his people and children

The women came with there sick children ,we gave vitamins,the mother in the picture down received also vitamins as obviously her child was malnourished,we also prayed for her baby and her

her baby really looked sick
we told her Christ Jesus cares for them
and will help her Baby to grow and will provide for them

this woman received eyeclasses which were donated from Germany

On the way back from the village it was another 2 hours ride, three of us on the Habal Habal Motorcycle , suddenly within a short time we had 2 flat tires
( it seems like I was to heavy though)so the Pastor and I had to walk,hallelujah

We gave thanks to the Almighty Father for protecting us all the way,no accident,no Injury´s ,praise GOD Almighty

After we came back from the remote island ministry we traveled some dangerous dusty road through the cromite Mining fields in Mindanao on the way to Tandag city.We were blessed with the weather ,so we were able to pass the so called RED mountain´s .As you can see i was quite a trip ,steep on one side and dusty as well.We are grateful to our Father in heaven who protected us all the way in all our travel

Then after this long Bus ride we reached our last place of our Mercy Ministry Tandag City on `´Mainland Mindanao´´

The next day we ministered in a squatter area in the City of Tandag

Pastor Guardy my local mission partner and travel companion exsplains to the crowd why we are here that we come to bring physical and spiritual healing through Christ our Lord


















Some children had fever we treated the sick and prayed for healing

we had an open ear for their needs and we shared the good news of salvation with them















We told the people to put their Trust and Hope in Christ Jesus ,ask him to save them and some did and comitted their lives to Christ
We left these people into the followup of the Local Evangelical Church their and than we left the area,hallelujah heavenly Father for this open door of Ministry
